There is no question that program selection and marketing bring members and guests our FRPCUG meetings.  Some old formats, i.e. our hardware and software "ZOO" is  always a popular program and attracts good attendance.
We typically have 25 to 35 people at our meetings, but outside presenters help stimulate attendance.  The FBI agent, Jamie Leben, Sean Reifschneider and Evelyn Mitchell on Virtual Computing, drew the higher end of the attendance range.  It is great to see people coming out for meetings.  We need to continue to present stimulating programs, while we continue to function as a forum for  questions, and a sounding board for hardware and software problems.
It would be my hope that keeping a broader approach to dealing with all operating systems and a broad range of computer problems and possibilities will keep people interested in the club.  I also hope that members will share more of their successes, how they're doing maintaining stable computer systems, and what they're doing to achieve a high level of stability with their systems.
The board is open to suggestions about what is interesting to the group and to individuals in the group.  We need a constant flow of member ideas crossing the table so that we can prepare programs that meet the wants and desires of the group.

Should you want to participate in this discussion and are not yet a member of the Front Range PC Users Group, please email us at contact(at)frpcug.org and request authorization to register.
